Blackwell Grange is situated on the northern edge of the Cotswold escarpment in a rural location one mile off the Fosseway where we farm a pedigree flock of British Vendeen sheep. Over the past ten years we have been breeding the sheep in order to meet the ever changing demands of the consumer. Since 1996 we have been FABBL registered (Farm Assured British Beef and Lamb). FABBL was created to provide a nationwide farm assurance scheme giving retailers and consumers confidence in British livestock production standards.     The schemes` standards cover origin of livestock, husbandry and welfare, feed composition and storage, housing and handling facilities, medicine and veterinary treatments, movement records and medicine books. The reason why Blackwell Grange is Farm Assured is to gain the consumers confidence which we feel we have now done, and feel that the lamb we sell is some of the most naturally reared lamb in the country.

In these changing times we have accounted for the households smaller freezer in that we are offering the lamb in half joints as well as whole joints, in a half or
a whole lamb box.

A Whole lamb box contains:
2  shoulders, 2  breasts, 28 chops, 2 legs, liver, kidneys and stewing peice.

A Whole lamb box £80 approx 18kgs
A Half lamb box £45 approx 9kgs
