We invite you and your nearest and dearest to spend the night in the inimitable 1604 and further enjoy this romantic setting as your wedding day draws to a close. There are ten en-suite bedrooms, (including the honeymoon suite) sleeping 22 guests in total. 1604 has been carefully designed to complement the existing style of Blackwell Grange.
The 1604 Accommodation
The Granary –
(honeymoon suite, sleeps 2)
The newly converted super king honeymoon suite, that sits under the thatched roof and above the red brick original granary.
Granny's Attic –
(1 bedroom, sleeps 2)
The only king bedroom with en-suite shower on the second floor of The Water Tower.
The Stables –
(2 ground floor bedrooms, sleeps 4)
Next in line to The Water Tower and on the ground floor, to the left is a super king bedroom with en-suite shower. The second suite is off to the right and is also a super king bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The Corn Shed –
(3 bedrooms, 1 ground floor, sleeps 6)
Located opposite the main entrance to The Orchard Barn. On the ground floor super king bedroom with en-suite shower. The additional remaining two super king en-suite bedrooms are each accessed by their own staircase!
The Hayloft Cottage –
(3 bedrooms, 2 ground floor, sleeps 8)
The master bedroom suite on the first floor is full of character, a full en-suite and has views of The Walled Herb Garden. On the ground floor to the left is a generous super king bedroom with en-suite shower. The bedroom to the right (sleeps four) authentically designed, not just with children in mind but would also accommodate four single adults, in the bespoke set of bunk beds. There is also an en-suite shower room.
The Flour Mill
At the heart of 1604, the very reason why this open plan kitchen restaurant originates, as this is where the oats were milled for flour in a former life. This space is ideal for dining the night before and or the morning after for the full debrief while you enjoy your 1604 breakfast.
