A Winter Romance
A Winter Romance
With a chic colour scheme, exquisite food and seasonal flowers, the February wedding of Stephanie and Zebulun at Blackwell Grange was a winter delight. While the snow fell, love was in the air!
“We loved the romantic, rustic Cotswolds style and the contemporary elegance of the Orchard Barn.”
“We also had lanterns and rose petals on the tables in the Orchard Barn and our table plan was a box of flowers with our names and the wedding date. We didn’t want to overpower the venue with too many decorations.”
“The skirt was layered to give it volume and the bodice was embellished with pearls and a plunging neckline which hugged in all the right places.”
The beautiful bride accessorised with pearl earrings from Tiffany, Kurt Geiger heels, her mother’s veil and a white fur shrug.
Meanwhile, the groom looked the part in a grey tweed suit with burgundy detail from Empire Outlet, completing the look with burgundy brogues and a burgundy tie.
Finally, Stephanie’s bridesmaids wore burgundy full-length dresses from TFNC London.
“The brownie was raved about by our guests, both adults and children!”
As the sun went down, the newlyweds danced their first dance to ‘Hold My Girl’ by George Ezra and a DJ filled the dance floor.
Delicious wood fired pizza proved the perfect choice for evening dining.
“The ten minutes we got after the ceremony was our favourite. We had a drink in the Thatch Barn and enjoyed a little bit of calm. After a stressful morning because of the snow and all eyes on us, it was time to relax and just be with each other.”
“Make sure you prepare for all types of weather. We had a snow day which caused our guests to be slightly late and my father’s car had to be pushed through the snow.”
