Master Debonair Photoshoot

On a beautiful summer’s day, Blackwell Grange proved the perfect backdrop for a styled shoot featuring a number of exciting suppliers including independent menswear retailer, Master Debonair, venue styling specialist, The Rustic Wedding Company and photography from Daffodil Waves.

The Bride Prepares

The Potting Shed was an idyllic spot for our ‘bride’ to prepare for the day ahead. A beautiful gown from Boho Bride Boutique hung on the back of the door while hair, by Alice Olivia Hair, and makeup, by Christine Cara Makeup, took place.

Meanwhile, the ‘groom’ and his groomsmen relaxed in the outdoor spaces, looking the part in their Master Debonair suits. Their three-piece ensembles with brown brogues were effortlessly stylish and yet retained an element of informality, the perfect choice for this Cotswolds country wedding venue.

All About Flowers

Floral arrangements on the day were created by the exceptionally talented Didi Vernon Miller, owner of Blackwell Grange. Highlighting key areas of the Thatch Barn, Didi designed pew end and aisle decorations as well as a magnificent arrangement above the fireplace. An idyllic ceremony space, the beauty of the Thatch Barn was accentuated with the addition of candlelight.

The Great Outdoors

Enchanting photographs were captured by Daffodil Waves in the outdoor spaces at Blackwell Grange. The Apple Tree and Cider lawns made particularly charming settings for those romantic shots, with the Moon Gate another favourite.

Ceremony Style

Our bride and groom for the day captured the romance of the Thatch Barn perfectly, whilst the dramatically styled fireplace made a magnificent focal point.

Co-ordinating with the venue flowers, our ethereal bride carried a hand-tied bouquet with that ‘just picked’ look and wore a boho-style floral crown.

Time to Dine

The Rustic Wedding Company also introduced the romantic, bohemian style to the contemporary Orchard Barn, embracing hues of brass and copper alongside an abundance of natural foliage and flowers in shades of cream, white and peach.

Simple white and gold stationery from The Foil Invite Company also brought real elegance to the shoot.

Relax with a drink

Carrying the look perfectly through from the reception space, the copper clad bar and relaxing Snug worked perfectly with the chosen theme and provided the ideal location for a few group photos of Master Debonair’s male models. They were even joined by the venue owners’ son, who completely stole the show wearing some of the company’s boys collection.
