The Vernon-Miller family welcome you to our site, Situated in fields on the Northern edge of the Cotswolds is Blackwell Grange, a 17th century farm house, as its low beamed ceilings, stone flagged floors and deep set windows testify. It is still a farm: a flock of pedigree sheep graze the fields, and free ranging Wyandotte bantams - prolific layers of eggs for our real English breakfast - help with a spot of gardening. Both our sheep and hens star - and win - at agricultural shows around the country. The area is - officially! - one of outstanding natural beauty, dotted with golden - stoned Cotswold villages: Snowshill, Chipping Campden, the Swells and the Slaughters to name but a few. You can leave cars behind to walk the “Centenary Way”, Stanton, Stanway and Broadway Tower or roam the bridleways: bring your own horse if you like, we do B & B for horses too! |
